Our engines come from Weichai, a company founded in 1946 in Weichai, Shandong Province, China. Just two years after being founded, they moved to Weifang City, where they began manufacturing 15 hp and 40 hp diesel engines.


In 1953, Weichai started research, development and production of its famous and successful 6108 series of diesel engines.   


The ministry of People's Armed Forces of Weichai later established an Iron works Cooperative based on this company. It mainly manufactured 79-type rifles and repaired steamboats.


To this day Weichai continues to expand its multi-field and multi-industry international group, with over 95,000 employees worldwide.
